External upgrade of 3 walk up flat sites.
Project Details
The contract provided for the following works:
* Asbestos roof and ceiling sheet replacement;
* Division wall upgrade;
* External painting; and
* Replacement of existing steel framed windows with PVC framed double glazed windows.
"Yeomans" - 96 walk up flats arranged in 14, three storey blocks;
"Bonython" - 48 walk up flats arranged in 7, three storey blocks; and
"Mellor" - 48 walk up flats and 6 town houses arranged in 7, two storey blocks.
This project demonstrated RTC's capacity to successfully manage a project across multiple sites, and with the complexity of high-density tenancies in the current COVID-19 sensitive environment.
