The building scope included construction of seven additional storerooms including uniform room and compactus, accessible and ambulant toilets, and new kitchen. External works involved a Cola and additional carport, carpark upgrades and landscaping.

Other than working within a live school environment, RTC’s main challenge was the schools requirement to maintain access to
the existing carpark, which we also needed to access our site. Careful consideration of working in school holidays, timing of material deliveries and disruption notices to the school principal allowed RTC to mitigate disturbances to school staff and visitors.

Completion of the project saw HSPA and Schools Infrastructure NSW impressed with RTC’s ability to effectively deliver a much needed space in a compressed time frame.
