RTC complete various types of upgrade work on behalf of the South Australian Housing Authority (SAHA), from vacancy upgrade maintenance, bathroom and kitchen upgrades and even disabled modifications. This disabled modification was conducted in conjunction with OT specifications to match the clients' every need.

This complex is used to house and care for clients of Disabilities SA.

The existing bathroom was not large enough to have the appropriate circulation spaces required for a bathroom used for disabled occupants.  Following a site visit, RTC made the recommendation to remove a wall between the existing bathroom and the unused spare bedroom to create a large disabled-friendly bathroom.

This recommendation was approved by SAHA and the work went ahead including asbestos removal of all wall linings, non-slip tiles, all new underfloor plumbing, custom vanity to allow for wheelchair access, disabled modification tapware and grabrails.
